SONYCAR BAZAAR
WEBSITE & VEHICLE SERVICES

Terms & Conditions

Version 2026-07-26-v1Effective 26 July 2026Last updated 26 July 2026

These terms govern use of the Sony Car Bazaar website, its pre-owned vehicle listings, enquiry facilities and related showroom assistance. The current website helps customers explore and contact us; it does not itself complete a vehicle purchase, accept payment or create a reservation.

Key things to know

Availability

Confirm the vehicle is still available before visiting or paying.

Used condition

Inspect, test-drive and review the available records before deciding.

Final price

Obtain a written vehicle-specific breakdown before any payment.

RC transfer

Complete the required ownership-transfer documents promptly; the authority decides the application.

Payment safety

The current website takes no payment. Use only written, verified showroom payment instructions offline.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

Browsing alone does not create a vehicle sale contract. By submitting an enquiry you agree to use the facility lawfully and provide accurate information. A WhatsApp or telephone discussion is not automatically a completed sale. A person buying, selling or exchanging a vehicle must be at least 18, legally capable of contracting and authorised to act for the registered owner where relevant. A valid driving licence is required for a test drive.

2. Website and enquiry service

The website displays published inventory and accepts general, vehicle, test-drive and sell/exchange requests. Submissions require manual showroom follow-up. There are no public customer accounts, online checkout, online finance application, document upload or payment facility. An admin “Reserved” status is inventory information; customers cannot reserve a vehicle through the website.

3. Our role and vehicle ownership

The repository does not establish whether Sony Car Bazaar owns every listed vehicle, facilitates third-party sales, or follows a mixed model. The legal seller and ownership position must be identified in each vehicle’s transaction documents. A listing must not be treated as proof that Sony Car Bazaar owns the vehicle.

4. Listings, availability and prices

Listings may include make, model, variant, manufacturing year, fuel, transmission, kilometres, owner count, features, images, asking price and status. We aim to use available records and observations responsibly, but important details must be reconfirmed. Vehicles may be reserved, sold, withdrawn or temporarily unavailable.

The code does not confirm whether displayed prices include transfer, government, tax, insurance, delivery, documentation, finance or other charges. Before any offline payment, the customer must receive a clear vehicle-specific written breakdown. An indicative or asking price may change before a binding agreement; an agreed price may be changed only under the relevant written agreement and applicable law.

5. Enquiries and communication

An enquiry does not bind the customer to buy, bind a seller to sell or hold a vehicle. It permits service-related follow-up through the chosen channel. It is not consent for indefinite promotional messages. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

6. Pre-owned condition and inspection

Pre-owned vehicles may show wear, ageing, repairs or replaced components. Customers should physically inspect the vehicle, test-drive it, review available service and insurance records, verify finance/challans and consider an independent mechanic. The project does not verify a formal inspection programme, certification or warranty, so the website must not claim “certified”, “accident-free”, “fully inspected” or “guaranteed” unless vehicle-specific evidence and written terms support it.

Used condition does not excuse fraud, deliberate concealment, misrepresentation, breach of an express written commitment or rights that law does not permit the business to exclude.

7. Test drives

The website accepts a preferred date and time only; the request is not confirmation. A test drive remains subject to vehicle availability, reasonable identity/licence verification and showroom safety arrangements. The driver must follow traffic laws and staff instructions, wear seat belts, remain sober, avoid reckless use and return the vehicle as agreed. Detailed route, accompaniment, insurance and incident rules require a separate reviewed acknowledgement.

8. Odometer, repair and service history

Odometer information reflects the displayed reading and records available at the relevant time; authenticity is not guaranteed unless independently verified. Known material accident, repair, insurance-claim, flood/fire, commercial-use and service information should be presented accurately and its source distinguished as seller-provided, observed, verified or unavailable. Absence of disclosed accident information is not proof of an accident-free vehicle.

9. Vehicle documents

Depending on the transaction, records may include RC, insurance, PUC, available invoice/service records, Forms 29/30, NOC or hypothecation papers, receipts, sale agreement, delivery note and handover checklist. A supplied copy is not automatically proof of validity. Parties should verify documents and seller authority with relevant records and authorities.

10. RC transfer and challan support

Sony Car Bazaar provides documentation guidance and process coordination; it is not the RTO, Parivahan/VAHAN or another authority and cannot approve or guarantee an application, portal availability or challan outcome. Buyer and seller responsibilities, forms, fees, documents and timing must follow applicable law and the vehicle-specific acknowledgement. Official Parivahan guidance identifies Forms 29 and 30 for a normal transfer of ownership.

11. Selling or exchanging a vehicle

A sell/exchange form starts an evaluation discussion and does not create a purchase commitment or guaranteed valuation. The person submitting must have authority to deal with the vehicle and disclose material ownership, finance, accident, repair, challan and document information accurately. Any valuation may change after physical and document verification. Final ownership, price, possession and payment terms require written vehicle-specific records.

12. Finance and insurance assistance

The site only advertises assistance and does not collect an online finance application. Approval, interest, fees, tenure, insurance cover and claims are decisions of the relevant regulated provider under its documents. Sony Car Bazaar does not guarantee approval or claim settlement. Any future sharing of an application with a provider requires clear notice and appropriate permission.

13. Reservations, payments, cancellation and refunds

The current website collects no booking/token amount and supports no payment. A vehicle is not reserved through an enquiry. Before any offline amount is accepted, the business must provide written confirmation of the amount, reservation period, adjustment, cancellation, deduction, refund method/timeline and what happens if the dealership, vehicle condition or finance prevents completion. The repository does not confirm those rules; no “non-refundable in every case” rule is created by these terms.

14. Delivery and risk

Delivery areas, transport charges, handover conditions and the point at which possession/risk transfers are not confirmed. They must be recorded in the vehicle-specific agreement and delivery note. Do not drive or use a vehicle contrary to registration, insurance, permit or other legal requirements.

15. Customer responsibilities

Customers must give accurate information, inspect the vehicle and documents, use verified payment details, read transaction documents before signing, meet agreed payment/handover obligations and cooperate with transfer steps. Sellers must have authority and must not conceal material facts or submit stolen, encumbered or falsified vehicle information.

16. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Do not submit fraudulent enquiries, impersonate others, attack or bypass security, scrape at disruptive scale, copy listings/images for fraudulent advertisements, manipulate reviews, harass people or infringe rights. Original site design, code, brand content, illustrations and business-created media remain protected; manufacturer marks, government forms, customer-owned material and licensed third-party assets remain their owners’ property.

17. Third-party services

The site links to WhatsApp, Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Those independent services have their own terms and availability. Finance, insurance, inspection, transport or authority services discussed offline remain governed by their providers and applicable law; their independent decisions are not website confirmations.

18. Consumer rights and liability

To the extent permitted by law, responsibility depends on the service, vehicle-specific documents and circumstances. Nothing here excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, fraud, deliberate misrepresentation, unlawful conduct or an express written commitment. The website may occasionally be unavailable or contain a correctable error, but that is not permission for careless or misleading representations.

19. Complaints, law and disputes

First contact showroom management with the vehicle, dates, documents and requested resolution. We will review the relevant records and attempt a good-faith resolution. Either party remains free to use remedies available under applicable law, including competent consumer authorities. These terms are governed by Indian law; subject to mandatory consumer and jurisdictional rights, competent courts or authorities connected with Uttar Pradesh may hear disputes. No mandatory private arbitration is imposed here.

20. Changes and complete agreement

Updates will show a revised version and date. Material changes will not silently rewrite completed transactions, and fresh agreement will be obtained where required. These website terms govern website use; the Privacy Policy governs personal information; vehicle-specific booking, sale, warranty, finance, insurance, inspection and delivery documents govern those matters. If a clause is unenforceable, the remainder continues where legally permitted. Delay in exercising a right is not automatically a permanent waiver.
