IMPORTANT VEHICLE INFORMATION

Vehicle Disclaimer

Version 2026-07-26-v1Effective 26 July 2026Last updated 26 July 2026

Sony Car Bazaar publishes pre-owned vehicle information to help customers explore available cars. Every used vehicle has a different history, condition and usage pattern, so review the vehicle, available evidence and final written transaction details before purchasing.

Please read before enquiring or purchasing

Inspect before purchase

Review the vehicle physically and consider an independent mechanical inspection.

Confirm final price

Obtain a written breakdown of the vehicle price and applicable charges.

Verify information

Review the RC, insurance, ownership details and available history.

Understand RC transfer

The relevant authority controls approval and timing; we provide coordination.

Pay safely

Use only verified payment details and never share PINs, CVV, passwords or OTPs.

1. Nature of pre-owned vehicles

Pre-owned vehicles may show age- and use-related wear such as scratches, dents, paint or interior variation, tyre/battery ageing, maintenance, component replacement, repair marks, noises or performance variation. A serious known issue must not be hidden or dismissed automatically as normal wear.

2. Listing information and vehicle years

Listings use the records, observations and supplier information recorded by authorised staff. Public detail pages now identify the information source and verification status. Manufacturing year, model/variant and registration year can differ and should be checked against the RC, manufacturer information and transaction documents. Reasonable efforts do not eliminate occasional unintentional errors; material details must be reconfirmed before sale.

3. Availability and enquiries

Vehicles may be available, reserved, sold, withdrawn or temporarily unavailable. Website updates may not be immediate. A listing, visit, enquiry, WhatsApp chat or verbal discussion does not hold a vehicle. The current website has no customer reservation or payment facility. Reconfirm availability before travelling or making any offline payment.

4. Prices, additional charges and payment safety

Displayed amounts are asking prices unless a vehicle-specific document confirms a final price. The system does not establish whether transfer, government, tax, insurance, hypothecation/NOC, challan, documentation, delivery, finance, inspection or warranty charges are included. Obtain a written breakdown before paying and do not accept hidden additions.

5. Photographs, image type and colour

Each public record identifies whether images are recorded as the actual vehicle or representative. Representative images must be clearly treated as such. Lighting, camera settings, compression, cropping and screens can affect appearance and colour, but images must not digitally remove dents, rust, warning lights, wear or material damage. Confirm appearance and colour physically.

6. Odometer and ownership

Kilometres normally reflect the displayed or recorded reading at the relevant time. The detail page states whether it was observed, owner-provided, partially verified or verified; it is not a lifetime-usage guarantee unless a documented method supports that claim. Ownership count and type are based on recorded evidence and should be checked against the RC and transaction records. Ownership count alone does not establish condition.

7. Accident, repair and service history

Accident, claim, repainting, structural repair, flood/fire, replaced-part and maintenance information depends on evidence available at the time. “No information available” is not “guaranteed accident-free”. Service history may be full, partial, owner-provided or unavailable and does not prove every recommended service was completed. Known material repairs and defects recorded by staff appear on the detail page and should not be deliberately concealed.

8. Inspection, independent checks and test drives

Unless a dated written report identifies its scope and inspector, a listing is not a formal mechanical certification. An inspection records observations at a point in time and is not an unlimited future guarantee. Customers should request an independent qualified inspection, subject to reasonable scheduling, safety, owner permission and approval before dismantling.

A test drive helps assess basic operation but does not replace mechanical, electrical or structural inspection. It requires confirmation, a valid licence, reasonable identity and safety checks, traffic-law compliance, seat belts, sobriety and non-reckless use. Availability can depend on location, insurance, owner permission, conditions and staff.

9. Mechanical condition, features and fuel efficiency

Engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, steering, suspension, AC, battery, sensors, electronics, tyres and other systems are affected by age, use and maintenance. Operation during viewing does not guarantee no later repair. Verify important features, modifications, emissions compliance, spare keys, wheel/tool kit and included accessories physically and in the delivery record. Fuel-efficiency figures are indicative and vary with vehicle, traffic, driving, load, maintenance, tyres, fuel and climate.

10. Documents, insurance and finance

Review available RC, insurance, PUC, service, invoice, NOC and hypothecation/finance documents and vehicle identifiers. A supplied copy is not automatically valid; authority/provider records control. Insurance coverage, renewal and claims are determined by the insurer. Finance assistance is not approval, and lender pricing, eligibility and documents control. No public identity-document or finance-application upload exists on this website.

11. RC transfer, challans and hypothecation

Sony Car Bazaar provides documentation assistance and coordination but is not the RTO, Parivahan/VAHAN, police, court, lender or insurer. Relevant authorities decide RC updates and challan matters. Buyer/seller responsibilities, Forms 29/30 where applicable, fees, deadlines, outstanding challans, NOC and finance closure must be documented for the vehicle. No approval, removal or completion date is guaranteed by the website.

12. Sale, delivery and post-delivery

This disclaimer supports the listing; it does not replace vehicle-specific quotation, booking confirmation, receipt, invoice, sale agreement, condition acknowledgement, delivery note, document checklist or transfer papers. Those records should identify the vehicle, price, payments, known observations, accessories, keys, documents, responsibilities, warranty if any, delivery condition and pending actions. After delivery, the buyer maintains, services, insures and lawfully operates the vehicle, except where a separate written commitment applies.

13. Third-party information and affiliations

Information may originate from the registered owner, prior seller, insurer, service centre, lender, inspection provider or authority portal. Its source and verification status should be identified; third-party origin does not excuse publishing information known to be false. Sony Car Bazaar is an independent pre-owned vehicle business and is not affiliated with an RTO, Parivahan/VAHAN, Uttar Pradesh Transport Department or vehicle manufacturer unless expressly confirmed. Marks and model names identify vehicles only.

14. Customer responsibility and consumer rights

Review the listing and verification labels, inspect and test-drive, ask questions, check ownership/insurance/challans/finance and available records, obtain the price breakdown, read documents and keep payment evidence. These responsibilities do not excuse false statements, deliberate concealment, unfair practices, negligence that cannot lawfully be excluded or breach of written commitments.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.

15. Incorrect listings and complaints

Report incorrect, outdated or potentially misleading information with the stock number, issue and supporting detail. Showroom management should review it, temporarily hide the listing where a material concern exists, correct or remove inaccurate information, retain an audit record and notify active enquirers when an important correction affects their decision.
